THE YAVAPAI COUNTY CHAPTER OF CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP PROVIDES REGULAR AND ONGOING TEACHER TRAINING FOR ANYONE THAT WORKS WITH CHILDREN IN LOCAL CHURCHES, GOOD NEWS CLUBS, OR CAMP MINISTRIES. IF THERE IS NOT A GOOD NEWS CLUB IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL, JUST WAIT...IT WILL BE THERE SOON!

Yavapai County Director
Mara Byrd began serving with CEF right out College. She served as the Director of Teacher Training for CEF of Minnesota for 20 years. In about 2015, she and her husband moved to Prescott, Arizona to retire. God introduced her to the ministry of CEF Arizona, and she agreed to become a volunteer coordinator for the new ministry being launched in Yavapai County. A local committee was established, and we officially called Mara in 2017 to officially become a missionary and paid local Director for CEF in Yavapai County.

In 2022, we formally welcomed Bill and Beth Vogel as members of our CEF Arizona Staff. Bill and Beth have served together in CEF in Southern California, the State of Maryland, and as missionaries to the Caribbean. Today the Vogels encourage and equip local churches in Yavapai County to reach the children in their communities with the Gospel through partnerships with CEF.
